(HealthDay News) — During every season but winter, trees, weeds and grasses release tiny grains of pollen. If you breathe in those granules, it may trigger a type of allergy called hay fever.
The U.S. National Library of Medicine says typical symptoms of hay fever include:
- Sneezing, often accompanied by a runny or clogged nose
- Coughing and postnasal drip
- Itchy eyes, nose and throat
- Red and watery eyes
- Dark circles under the eyes
