(HealthDay News) — Eating for emotional reasons or simple boredom can lead to unnecessary weight gain and unneeded calories.
The American Academy of Family Physicians says these signs indicate true hunger:
- A growling, rumbling, gnawing or hunger pang sensation in your stomach.
- Low energy, or feeling weak.
- Difficulty concentrating.
- A mild headache.
- Irritability.
