Health Tip: Don’t Give Raw Milk to Children
By ariannawmd on January 28, 2014

Raw milk that has not been pasteurized or homogenized can harbor harmful germs.
The American Academy of Pediatrics offers these recommendations to parents:
- Never give raw milk or dairy products that contain raw milk to children.
- Check product labels to make sure they use pasteurized milk.
- Store pasteurized dairy products in the refrigerator at a temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit or lower.
- Throw away any dairy products with expired “best by” dates.
